Ana Paula Chagas is a partner at Simões Pires, leading the Environmental, Climate Change and ESG practice.
She is a specialist in Sustainability and ESG with over 20 years of experience. She stands out for her integrated work in sustainability, environmental law and ESG, contributing significantly to the advance of sustainable practices in various sectors of the economy, including renewable energy, infrastructure, mining, oil and gas, chemicals and agribusiness.
She has a solid academic background that includes a master’s degree in Environmental Law from Université Paris I – Panthéon-Sorbonne and several certifications focused on ESG and sustainability, combining in-depth technical knowledge with a strategic vision oriented towards corporate sustainability.
Her international experience is reinforced by her presence at important conferences, such as the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), where she has been an active voice in the promotion of sustainable practices.
